5 boat ramps and the Swan Quarter Ocracoke Ferry.

Mattamuskeet Hide Away is owned by Mark and Lisa Carawan who own and operate Carawans Motel and Cabins of Swan Quarter, NC.

Stay at the Mattamuskeet Hide Away and enjoy the peaceful life of Hyde County.  A county without a stop lights, shopping malls just plain paradise.  The Cabin sets adjacent to CE Carawans Farm that has 1250 Blueberry plants along with Fig trees, Persimmon trees, 20 Mattamuskeet Apple trees and a 20 acre Duck Impoundment.  Take an evening walk around and you might see Deer, Bald Eagles, Wolves, Bear, Geese, Ducks and Swan.
